Collaborative Workflow for WordPress Development

Joel Eade and Ben Pearson recently delivered a great talk about the tools they use to facilitate collaboration when developing WordPress sites for clients. Spoiler alert: WP Migrate DB Pro is a big part of their toolset. čÖé

I love seeing our plugin helping developers collaborate. But I still think we can do more. One of the most requested features that we get is the ability to┬ámerge┬átwo databases, so we’ve been been kicking around some ideas to make things even easier for collaboration. We haven’t solved the merging konundrum, but have thought up some tools and processes that can be used to avoid merging completely and make collaboration at the database level fun (probably for the first time ever).

I’m planning to share some of these ideas during my talk at┬áWordCamp Miami┬ánext month. There’s still tickets available if you’re interested in attending.
