WooCommerce Integration

With our WooCommerce integration, you can easily upload your files to cloud storage when editing a product in your WordPress dashboard. And when you assign a file to a WooCommerce product, we automatically set the bucket permissions of the file to private to protect your digital files from unauthorized downloads. When your customers download a purchased digital product, WP Offload Media will automatically provide a temporary signed URL for secure and private downloading.

Compatibility

Our WooCommerce integration is 100% compatible with shortcodes created by the official WooCommerce Amazon S3 storage extension. There is no need to keep both plugins installed and activated.

Downloading non media library files

You don’t have to add your product files to the WordPress Media Library. Similar to the official WooCommerce Amazon S3 Storage extension you can attach files that don’t exist in the Media Library. This means you can use files in the bucket (that you have set to private) with a shortcode in the ‘File URL’ field for downloadable files like this:

[amazon_s3 bucket=mybucket object=path/to/my/file.zip]

All integrations are part of the core WP Offload Media plugin and are available to all license holders.
